Lionsgate joins the iTunes Crowd

Coming across the AP, Apple is anouncing that they have teamed up with Lionsgate to bring an additional 150 titles to the iTunes Store. These will be available for download today. Some of these titles include: "Terminator 2", "LA Story", "Basic Instinct", "The Blair Witch Project" and "Dirty Dancing." Titles are $9.99 are recorded at 640x480.

In the coming weeks be on the look out for "Total Recall", "Rambo", "Monster's Ball", “Chaplin” and “The Boys From Brazil.”

“We’re delighted to offer these incredibly popular Lionsgate films on iTunes, and look forward to adding even more films in the future,” said Steve Beeks, president of Lionsgate. “iTunes lets users download these wonderful films to watch on their computer, TV or iPod, so movie fans can take their favorite Lionsgate films with them anywhere.”


Lionsgate joins Disney and Paramount in the iTunes Store, which now boasts over 400 titles for imediate download.
